The Age newspapers going green, giving out eco friendly reusable bags

Branding is an interesting kettle of fish. Branding deals with image on every level of business – customer touch points, product naming, written copy style, even corporate responsibility.

There’s absolutely nothing wrong with giving out branded eco friendly reusable bags. It carries the whole ‘green’ image, thanks to well known brands like Woolworths, Coles, even fuel station Caltex! If it works for their brands, it must work for everyone else’s, right? Well, yes, but not really. The return on investment (ROI) for some businesses wouldn’t be nearly as much. For example, if you hard-core branded custom chopper bikies garage, giving out branded eco friendly reusable shopping bags would definitely raise quite a few eye brows.

Measuring the success of your new product or release combining a microsite and website analytics

There are several ways you can measure the success of your new product or release. Customers want service – Brand Management

Just tonight I was briefly watching the news and I heard that today, customer complains for lack of service grew dramatically for telecommunication companies; by 50% up last years. You may not be a Telco company, but quality of service still applies.

Customers want service. Customers expect service.

There you have it, in black and white. Most of us read and learnt about this in our studies, but along the way of running our businesses, it’s not unusual to forget some of the smaller things while focusing on the bigger picture(s).

Brand Management

Brand Management is not about spending 6 figures a year on advertising trying to sell a product, or on public relations as a result of a miss-hap. That’s reacting. Brand Management is about acting. Managing your brand. Identifying customer pain points and taking them out swiftly, before they become problems. Brand Management is about seeking to increase the perceived value of your product, service, or company. (more…)

Take your business to the next level with Branding.

One of the most courageous decisions you ever made in your business life, was to start your own. To become an individual in business. To work towards your goals, your desires, your dreams. You probably made this decision because you wanted the freedom, or simply needed the extra cash. Maybe it was to prove someone wrong, to show your worth. You wanted to be able to pack your bags and take a holiday without worrying about who will pay the ever growing pile of bills. You wanted to really accomplish something. You wanted to leave behind a legacy, help the needy, or take control of your own life.

Whichever reason was yours, it certainly was a good one. No, a great one.

Maybe you made this decision a year, or three ago. Maybe even last week! Since you made the decision to start your own business, one of your main goals and top priorities was and is to make a profit.

The beginning is probably one of the most exciting yet demanding times. Running around, doing this, organising that. Late nights by dim light planning your next business move is not unknown to you. I appreciate this greatly, and I want you to be able to fully benefit from what you can get out of Isaiah Media. (more…)

What calls for a website redesign?

Imagine a website that looks great, gains the trust of your consumers, makes them tell their friends about you, keeps them coming back again and again, and generates quality leads and business.

It’s a beautiful picture indeed. After all it is the reason why you have a website.

Just as clothes, cars and toothbrushes age over time, unfortunately so too does a website. Hence the question has been raised - If I already have an existing website why should I get a redesign? Well, depending on the current state of your website there can be more or less reasons to take this step.

If your website is tired and outdated chances are that it’s:

  • not as user friendly as it could be
  • most probably be putting off potential customers or clients
  • making your users lose trust in you, your business and or your brand
  • using old web technology excessively
  • making your website load slower than it should
  • not even work at all some some internet browsers
  • not optimised on-page for search engines

Each of these things can slowly push away potential customers.

For most, time is a precious commodity these days and when you’re dealing with internet savvy users, who want information and want it fast, you can’t afford for (more…)
